Clearing the Mines 2023

The Clearing the Mines 2023 report was prepared by Mine Action Review for the Twenty-First Meeting of States Parties to the 1997 Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention (Geneva, 20–24 November 2023).

It contains:

• A Foreword from Mine Action Review’s Advisory Board Members, The HALO Trust, Mines Advisory Group (MAG), and Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA);
• Key Findings;
• A global overview of global anti-personnel mine contamination and the progress being made in survey and clearance;
• Country reports for all mine-affected states and other areas globally. N.B the country reports for the State Parties to the Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention each contain an analysis of progress in Article 5 implementation, including Recommendations for Action.
